I lived in Songkhla, Thailand, when I was seven years old. It changed my life forever. My appreciation for other cultures and change allows me to have an openness to the unknown.
From exploring Torres del Paine in Patagonia to sipping cortados in Barcelona or seeing the roof open up under the Shanghai night sky, travel feeds my creative mind and soul.
The animal that called to me in second grade was a cheetah, and that hasn’t really changed. I love animals and have rescued/fostered many from LA, New Jersey, NYC, and Chile– never exceeding 3ish at a time.
Serena watch out! Ok, not really, but I found a sport I love and will wake up at 5:30AM to play. I am currently USTA rated as a 3.5, and my goal is to become a 4.0 in the next year.
While living in Jersey City, NJ, I became a foster parent to three boys, aging from 8 to 17 years old.
Knowing how to drive a stick shift is a life skill rarely used but not forgotten. Mom insisted I learn when I was 15 years old. Fast forward many years when the only car available in Pucon, Chile, was a stick and I was ready to go!
